CAMP MARSHALL 2009
SCRAPBOOKING WEEKEND

Our first Scrapbooking Weekend at Camp Marshall will be October 23-25.

It will be a fun weekend, but it is not just about being creative (though that is important too).  Scrapbooking is one way to practice gratitude.  When wego through pictures, we look at events and people who have filled our life.  It is a chance to focus on what is good and right in our life and to remember those who are no longer with us.

The theme of the weekend is, “Grateful Hearts” and the scripture is It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to your Name, O Most High” (Psalm 92:1)

The Rev. John Toles has agreed to be our priest for the weekend and we have set aside time for people to share their stories, techniques and special tools of the trade.  There will also be time to work on our projects and get to know others in our diocesan family who like to be creative in this way.
